MODE Nepal, a local development NGO, focuses its overall development efforts on bottom-up, integrated actions, primarily through social partnership and resource mobilization for better education, employment, health, sanitation, resource conservation, management and participation in self-help activities. It endeavors to adopt and institutionalize a holistic and participatory process approach that involves individuals, their grassroots organizations and the government in enhancing the quality of life and sustainable development of the country. It gives more emphasis on research activities to strengthen capacity of research professionals/students linked with different academic and research institutions.
We believe in the philosophy of mobilization first for their willful participation and thereby making them responsive to change for development initiatives. It is because the concept behind the participation implicitly regards people as object not subject of development.

MODE Nepal has been conduction the HOSIERY (Woolen bag, Cap and Socks) Training to the surrounding community people of the PLA cantonment at Jutpani, Chitawan. The training was started on 7th October and will be concluded on 3rd December, 2011. Total 29 participants are being participating in the training. The training is funded by GIZ/STPP.
